HP refills area pretty straightforward way in recycling cartridges as it can save you a lot of money rather than buying a new one. Here’s a simple guideline on how to literally save money by refilling your ink cartridge or HP refills.

  1. Find the cheapest ink refill kit in any office supply stores. Buying a kit is less expensive than purchasing only one. Some office supply stores offer a discount so take advantage of it.
  2. Prepare the materials on a large desk with your kit, paper towels, and clear scotch tape.
  3. Remove the empty ink cartridges and make sure to close the printer lid.
  4. Find the holes on top of the ink cartridge.
  5. Pierce the hole using a sharp pencil or a screwdriver.
  6. Fill the syringe with ink but make sure to leave at least 5 mL to avoid leakage.
  7. When injecting the ink, make sure that no air will enter the cartridge as this can cause air-gaps.
  8. Stop the process when the ink cartridge is already full and use the clear scotch tape to cover the holes.

Always remember to wear gloves when doing the process as this is totally a messy job.
